Tekken - Comedy clips collection #1
the hardcore Japanese TTT combo vids, I decided to put together a collection of videos I found hilarious - usually for different reasons. 00:00 - UltimateX's Taking a break from the hardcore Japanese TTT combo vids, I decided to put together a collection of videos I found hilarious - usually for different reasons.
00:00 - UltimateX's Juggle Exhibiton, Act 1. LMAO... just look at this. There's just something wrong with every clip. Some of this only "works" in Practice Mode... and some of this really has you scratching your head wondering why this is even in a vid, because these sure as hell aren't combos! By the way, I don't think any less of Agent316; if I had a great capture card and was great at editing, I'd want to be part of such a hilarious video too!
00:51 - AfroBob Act 1 / 02:23 - BarfBag Act 1. These are the only vids I considered deleting off my harddrive. While they probably considered them parodies of combo vids, I considered them egregious wastes of bandwidth. I'm just curious why Windows Movie Maker messes up the intros - the titles don't flash in the original AVIs; they stay for a few seconds and show those stupid pictures for a few seconds. Oh well.
04:13 - Backwards running followed by a shoulder tackle. I'm pretty sure this is still in the PS2 version. I haven't bothered experimenting with this.
04:18 - Brokken: what Tekken 3 sounds like when your PlayStation doesn't quite load it properly. I know I've had it happen a couple times, myself.
05:05 - Scrub Match: K-Mart Counter Guy VS VooDoo Guy. Thanks to the guys in Central California for capping this. Did these players know they were being recorded?? Ha ha!
06:53 - Bryheem VS Bang. Yes, this the match where someone actually used Jin's 10-string in a Tournament (March Madness 2 in 2000, I believe), and someone actually fell for it! MORE THAN ONCE! Just how many times? See for yourself!
08:08 - Triple Lei VS Chinaman at EC2 in 2001. I was inexperienced (certainly not battle-hardened, tournament ready), and I was facing one of the best players in the US! Chinaman has been playing hardcore since Tekken 3; I, on the other hand, just gleaned whatever I could from the Zaibatsu forums. I couldn't very well use Hwoarang (not against Chinaman in a tourney, anyway), but when you're facing such a veteran player who's bigger, older, and hits his buttons harder and louder than you, you tend to not think straight. Still, I guess I was able to do Lei's HaHa steps ok to give the illusion that I'm a decent player, and I'm lucky those messed up HaHa steps (which turned into that 4~3 kick) connected so many times.
